Our Projects

Our projects strengthen community, identity and opportunity for Tanzanians and friends in the UK.

Through education, cultural programmes and community support, we create spaces where people can learn, connect and thrive.

Featured Project

Kiswahili Project

A community-led education programme connecting language, culture and identity

The Kiswahili Project began in 2019 as a hybrid education initiative. It is currently delivered online, with plans to expand into face-to-face learning.

The project teaches Kiswahili language and Tanzanian cultural values to children aged 1–15, as well as adults interested in reconnecting with their heritage.

It enables participants to build confidence, connect with other Tanzanians, and engage more meaningfully when visiting Kiswahili-speaking countries.
